Marvin SooHoo became a Venture Partner at Moneta in 2022, and has served on the firm’s Fund I advisory board since its inception in 2014. Marvin is uniquely positioned to offer his blend of IT services expertise, networks, and capital to help drive the success of Moneta’s portfolio companies. He has over three decades of experience working in IT, and has held roles as a co-founder, partner, president, and head of business development, and currently shares the Chairman of the Board seat of The Silicon Partners ( a Moneta portfolio company). He also has two decades of entrepreneurship and investment experience that has helped the firm, its portfolio companies, and other LPs in both a direct and indirect way.
Although not as integrated into the day-to-day operations as the general partners, Marvin regularly collaborates with the GPs and portfolio companies and actively participates in the fundraising process.
