Happy Friday everyone! What a surprise, Women in Big Data! Thank you very much for the recognition at #EMEA level.🚀
As everyone knows, I am Data Scientist & AI Specialist by 🧠 and leader by ❤️
So, what does #leadership mean to me at a global scale?
💫 first of all, we all are humans. So, I always start with the personal journey of my potential future team member to understand HOW can I lead & empower the person. What does a #safespace mean to her or him
💫 everyone can manage everything, she or he is dreaming about. The only question is: How strong is the motivation and passion to realize it - the WHY? Why the person would like to work on it?
💫 WHAT is the end product, the team member would like to deliver.
In leadership, clear communication, short - as well as long-term strategy, structure, and continuity are very important to make sure that the expectations are the same.
🚀 inspiration: the leader serves as role model and inspires her or his team how to deal in the business situations
🔥motivation: everyone of us has tough experiences: the leader realizes it and motivates everyday
🤹balanced responsibilities: The responsibilities have to be balanced split considering the high and low performing time of each individual team member
🏆 celebration of each single small and big success
🙏honesty: also leaders have weaknesses and strengths
🔎recognize the strengths of your team and let them learn from each other
Within the Women in Big Data Berlin, I had the pleasure to create my team from scratch. Without the team, I wouldn't be recognized:
🏆 Aliya : There are no words to describe, how Aliya is dedicated. She is one of the most reliable person, I have ever worked with. Aliya is responsible for communication and its strategy in our chapter. She conducts the interviews, creates videos, and drives communication around all events. She is the person behind the most communication of our chapter - staying very humble behind the scene.
🏆 Maria visited several events and hackathons of our chapter and finally she joined our core team. Immediately, she took the ownership of Speed Mentoring Germany-Switzerland and and notion to make our work even more professional and even more international. With her charisma, Maria is definitely a leader to be and her team will be very proud to have her as leader.
🏆 Anita has a lot of experience in management. Thanks to this, she brings amazing perspectives in keeping balanced responsibilities between the team members. She joined the team last year and has already organized couple events and is the owner of our podcast of Women in Big Data Berlin.
🏆 Yuliahas been project manager for several years. She enriches the team with her experience. She is the owner of notion - our intranet to make our work more professional as we are growing.
🏆 Itai moved to Berlin this summer and joined immediately our team. He is the ally of the year, who brings a lot of global women in big data perspectives into our team.
